01Before gates
Give yourself 30 minutes before the first band.
Green means go
02Log in
Tap Pit Pay or Ticket Hoss. Enter your mobile number. Enter the six-digit code we text you.
Number, then code
03Event & color
Two choices, and both have to be right.
Today is always first
04Ticket types
After the colors, tap Choose a band color for each ticket type. Every pass type gets an A, a B, or nothing.
Adults red, kids white, GA prints nothing
05Scanning opens
Once colors are loaded the kiosk asks when to open. Until then fans see a countdown and nothing prints.
Set it, then it counts down
06Scan
Fans hold their phone to the scanner eye below the screen. A band prints in about seven seconds. You watch the line.
What fans see all night
07Every result
One is good. Six need you. Tap through each pass: what's on the fan's phone, what the kiosk shows.

What the kiosk shows
Band prints. Nothing to do. If a fan says the band didn't come out, check the slot and the printer light before reprinting.
Their pass is real, just not for tonight. Check the date on their phone. Right pass, wrong kiosk setting? Fix it from the gear → Change Event.
This pass printed once already. Ask to see the band. Lost it? Only you can reprint — from the gear, find the name under event stats.
The kiosk doesn't recognize it. Wrong app, wrong track, or a refund. Send them to the ticket window.
A real pass, but this kiosk isn't set to print that type. If another kiosk at the event prints it, point the fan there. Types no kiosk prints go to your staff or the box office.
The pass was good but no band came out. Out of bands, jammed, or unplugged. Load a roll or clear the jam from the gear, then have the fan scan again. The pass is not used up.
08Mid-event
Bottom corner of the scan screen. Hold it for one second. Fans can't find it; you can.
Hold one second, the menu opens
09Text alerts
The kiosk texts the phone that logged in. Two messages, that's all.

10Something's wrong
Power, printers, screen, scanner eye. If it isn't one of those, it's the network. Fans see an Out of service screen with a code while you fix it.
Rocker switch inside the door not lit: reseat the cord at the wall and at the board, confirm the switch is on, then the breaker. Screen black but light green: unplug, wait 10 seconds, plug back in.
Blank bands — roll is in backwards. Nothing prints — door open or roll not seated; light should be steady blue. Blinking — out of bands. Jammed — open the door, pull the band straight out, re-feed.
Not responding: wipe it. Still stuck: unplug, wait 10 seconds, plug back in. Dim or dead in direct sun: it's overheating — shade it, give it ten minutes, plug back in.
Wipe the glass. A bright white light in the eye means it's ready. No light: restart. Light but no reads: phone closer, brightness up, kill the glare.
Kiosk shows Out of Service and retries every few seconds. Check the antenna is tight and upright, then the access point. Network fine? Restart the kiosk.
Text 855-748-1290: a photo of the screen, a photo inside the door (lights and rolls), the kiosk name, and one line on what happened. Pictures beat descriptions — we can usually fix it from those alone.
If a printer fails
The kiosk switches to the other printer on its own and shows this screen while it does. Only when both printers are down does it stop taking scans. Fix the roll, close the door, and it clears itself.
Out of service
Five reasons, five screens. Each one tells the fan to find staff and shows a code in the corner. Read the code back to us and we know exactly what's wrong.
Staff get back in the same way as always: hold the gear.
All five, in order
11Close out
Wait for the printers to finish. Shut the tablet down properly, then unplug at the wall.
